Selling Tickets to your Livestream (and making money ๐Ÿ’ธ)

Hey there, my name is Parker. I'm part of the growth team here at Conifer and in this tutorial, I'm going to show you how you can sell tickets to your live streams on Conifer and make money in the process. This is really simple overall, but there are a couple of different ways you can sell tickets, which is why we decided to break it down into a tutorial here and show you how that works. So right now, I'm logged into Conifer.

I'm toggled as my brand here in the top left, as you can see. And I'm going to be zooming in on this mock live stream right here just for the sake of today's example. So I'm going to show you first how to create tickets to a live stream. I'm going to edit on this live stream. It works the exact same way if you're building it from scratch. But here I'm going to actually show you two tickets that I've already created.

The first is Alive Attendance Ticket. Now, this is one of two ticket types that we offer on the platform, basically with live attendance tickets. As you can see, it's titled here, Anyone who buys this ticket is going to be able to do two things, attend to the live stream, live and come on to video if you choose to offer that. But they'll also be able to access the recording afterwards by default. You can change that in the settings, but they'll be able to both attend life and access the recording afterwards.

So we recommend creating a ticket for this and pricing it however high you want. But you can also create a second ticket type on Conifer, which is. You're recording access to it now, as the name implies, if someone buys this ticket, they can't attend wive, which is half of the value, but they can come to conference afterwards after your livestream is finished to watch the recording of the workshop or the meet up or whatever it is that you did in your live stream.

So we generally recommend offering this ticket type just because not everyone who is interested in your livestream is going to be able to attend if people have conflicts on their calendar. So we recommend creating this ticket type and pricing it out a bit of a discount just to gobble up some sales there. But you might not otherwise have gotten if you were only offering a live attendance ticket. So in Conifer, you're going to want to create both of these tickets for your live stream just to maximize your sales, capture any potential sales from anyone who might be interested.

Once you create these tickets and save both of them, you can just save and continue in the live stream builder. And it's as simple as that. Now, when you go out and start promoting your live stream to your followers and you share the public ticketing page for it, as we're looking at here, you'll see at the bottom people can buy one of two ticket types. You see the live ticket here for twenty five dollars and the recording access ticket that I created for ten dollars also has to do is click buy access.

They can put in their credit card number and register just like that. So that's really simple as it is in the future. We're also going to build capabilities where you can limit access to different sections within your live stream based on the ticket someone bought. But for now, we found that you can really squeeze out as many sales as possible from your live stream as long as you offer both of these ticket types. So that's all there is to it.

It's really not that complicated. We recommend taking advantage of both of these ticket types. Otherwise, if you have questions for our team, as always, don't hesitate. Use the chat available on our website and we'd love to help you out. Thanks for your time.
